2025 Porsche 718 Spyder RS

The Spyder RS is something we never thought we’d see from Porsche — a topless, mid-engine GT car. It’s an incredible experience to drive and deserves the complement of a great sound system as well as radar & laser countermesures.

This particular Spyder RS is owned by a previous client we worked with back in 2022 on his last 718 Spyder(non RS). We actually collaborated to host an event for our local AVANTS club chapter. We installed a Stage Two audio system in front of a live audience that got to demo the system afterwards.

This time around we decided that a little more output and control was needed to contend with the louder car, so we installed the full Stage Three system to replace the underwhelming BOSE audio.

The Escort Redline Ci 360c handled the LEO defense with front and rear radar receivers and 5 total laser jammers/shifters(3 front + 2 rear). The shifters were integrated into the front end with three independent custom housings while the rear two hide beneath a license plate frame system we designed in house.

On the interior we have a display build into another custom-designed piece that sits atop the steering column, directly in the driver’s field-of-view. An LED on the back of that housing illumnates the cluster any time there’s an alert. The controls were built into the ashtray in the center console and one of the blank buttons just in front of that was converted over to a usable MUTE function.

This Spyder RS and the owner were both a pleasure to work with and we’re thankful for the opportunity. After the drive home to Seattle we got this feedback from the client —
