It’s pretty common for folks to ask us if it’s worth upgrading the stereo in a convertible, and the short answer is yes.

In a convertible we’re subjected to more road and wind noise so we have to get a bit further into the volume knob to overcome those obstacales. Because of that, it’s actually even more important to upgrade the stereo if we want to enjoy music with the top up or down.

The owner of this particular car wanted a clear and detailed listening experience without distortion, and needed to be able to do that even in the noisy environment. We installed out Stage Three system along with an additional 600w subwoofer amplifier and two 8″ Arc Audio ARC subwoofers in a custom “rear seat delete” enclosure system.
